Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo at the Pomona Fairplex

by on Oct.09, 2010, under Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo

Knowing there were many companies looking for future promotional staffing, “Veryon” Vanessa and I spent some time talking with the trade show vendors at the Lucas Oil off-road expo.

We got to speak with the promotional agency overseeing the beauty contest for the Baja 1000 race. They needed 15 trophy girl / Pit Tootsies to represent the top teams and to compete in a beauty contest. We proposed a package deal that consisted of transportation, accommodations and apparel for the models.

We even had the time to do a fun video with Vanessa on how to become a promo model and how to prepare for a day as a Pit Tootsie. Enjoy!

Behind the scenes with the Roger Penske of the Grand Am Rolex Series – The Racers Group – TRG

by on Sep.20, 2009, under Events, Grand Am - Miller's

Andy Lally, the 2009 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona GT winner and three-time GRAND-AM Rolex Series Champion, felt at home having the beautiful Pit Tootsies around him to help promote his sponsors.

TRG’s Lally and Scott Schroeder took an impressive 2nd place after a brilliant pit stop strategy and a wild last few laps of the race.

Taking 5th place was John Potter and Craig Stanton. Near the end of Potter’s stint, the power steering stopped working. Mr. “incredible fit race car driver” Craig Stanton drove the rest of the race perfectly without the luxury of power steering. Given Stanton physical shape, he would be the one person I would want as a teammate if the power steering went out in my car.

Pit Tootsies were part of the fun at Miller’s Grand Am Rolex Series

by on Sep.19, 2009, under Grand Am - Miller's

When John Potter, of Magnus Racing, called inquiring about a few Pit Tootsies for a practical joke he wanted to play on co-driver Craig Stanton, I had no idea how elaborate the joke would be. Potter painted the No. 65 Magnus Racing/TRG Porsche GT3 with a picture of Craig Stanton with gray hair (which he doesn’t have) and the slogan “Touch of Gray”. Potter also had t-shirts made up for the practical joke. The Pit Tootsies were there for all the action and to help pass out the free t-shirts.
